Chemistry
The BS in Chemistry is a comprehensive four-year undergraduate program that provides students with an in-depth understanding of the fundamental principles and applications of chemistry. The program is designed to equip students with a strong foundation in the core areas of Chemistry, including Analytical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, and Environment Chemistry.
The BS in Chemistry program covers a range of subjects that are essential for students to gain a strong foundation in chemistry. The first two years of the program focus on the core areas of Chemistry, including Analytical-I Chemistry, Organic-I Chemistry, Inorganic-I Chemistry, and Physical-I Chemistry, along with supporting courses in Mathematics, Physics, Botany, Zoology, English, Islamic Study & Pak-Study. In the third and fourth years, students take specialized courses in areas such as Advance Organic Chemistry and Advance Analytical Chemistry, as well as elective courses in areas such as Statistics, English, Spectroscopy, Computational Chemistry, and Chemical Education.
The program also includes a significant laboratory component, where students will learn the practical skills needed to conduct experiments, data collection, analyze data, and interpret results. Throughout the program, students will be encouraged to participate in research projects and internships, which will provide them with valuable hands-on experience and prepare them for further studies.
